TULSA, Okla. – Officials from the AmeriFlex OCRS IMCA Sprint Car Series have announced the creation of the East/West Challenge Cup.
The series within a series will offer a $3,000 point fund, which will be distributed to the top-five in each Challenge Cup region.
The series will continue to crown an overall OCRS champion, with the Challenge Cup money available for drivers who just want to run closer to their side of Oklahoma.
The points structure will follow the normal OCRS nightly point structure with $500 for first, $300 for second, $275 for third, $250 for fourth and $200 for fifth in each Challenge Cup region.
The overall OCRS championship point payout next year will exceed $15,000, with the series champion pocketing $3,000 while 10th place will earn $1,000.
