Dewease Heading To Arizona For Wild Wing Shootout

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. – Lance Dewease and the Kreitz Racing No. 69k team will venture to Arizona Speedway in January for the inaugural Wild Wing Shootout.

Team owner Don Kreitz Jr confirmed that the venerable squad would head west in a Tweet posted Friday morning.

The Fayetteville, Pa., veteran won two All Star Circuit of Champions features this year, including the $53,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway.

He won six times overall and finished sixth in the standings with the Central PA Sprint Car Points Series. Dewease is also a member of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.

Dewease joins an early entry list for the event that includes 10-time World of Outlaws sprint car champion Donny Schatz and three-time NASCAR Cup Series titlist Tony Stewart.

Other confirmed entries for the inaugural Wild Wing Shootout include Dominic Scelzi, Cory Eliason, Rico Abreu, Aaron Reutzel and Gio Scelzi.
