Top-flight women's cricket will return to South Africa in January 2021, with Pakistan set to visit the country for three ODIs followed by three T20Is. All six white-ball matches will be held in the KwaZulu-Natal province. The series will begin with the first two ODIs at Kingsmead on January 20 and January 23, and Pietermaritzburg Oval will then host the final ODI and the first two T20Is before the teams return to Kingsmead for the final T20I - and the final match of the tour - on February 3.
"Hosting this tour of Pakistan Women is incredibly important to us as this will give our Protea Women much needed game time and also bring in revenue that funds the entire game of cricket especially during these difficult times," Graeme Smith, CSA director of cricket, said. "We enjoy a very good working relationship with the Pakistan Cricket board and we look forward to hosting their ladies side in what promises to be an exciting tour in the new year."
