BRADFORD, Vt. – The USAC Dirt Midget Ass’n will once again make Bear Ridge Speedway its home track next season, with the quarter-mile dirt track hosting 10 of the scheduled 12 races next year.
Albany-Saratoga Speedway, a four-tenths-mile dirt track in Malta, N.Y., will host two races next season.
Discussions have also been held with the Flat Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway about a return to that speedway. Series officials have also spoken with officials from the new dirt track in Londonderry, N.H., and also with officials from Victory Speedway at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, N.Y., about races at those facilities. Additional race dates could be announced later.
Seth Carlson and Will Hull split the eight features held this year, with Carlson claiming five victories and the series championship. Both drivers will return next year with the Skip Matczak team. They’ll be joined by Tim West in a third car fielded by Matczak, with a fourth car also possible.
Ray Miller Racing will have all four of its drivers – Justin Phillips, Joe Krawiec, Brandon Piastka and John Sheridan – all set to return.
Wayne Koehler and his wife, Patricia, will also return to the series. Others confirmed to return next year include Manny Dias, Jeff Champagne and Mike Netishen.
New teams expected to compete include Adrian Tetreault, Dylan Campbell and Nick Boivin. J.R. Mancini will also run a new team with a driver to be announced later.
