TULSA, Okla. – Seven new entries were added to the roster for the 35th Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals on Wednesday morning, bringing the total tally to 293 cars so far.
The Super Bowl of Midget Racing is scheduled for Jan. 11-16, inside the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla., and will take place under strict health precautions.
Among Wednesday’s newest entries into the week-long event are three cars for owner Kelly Fode, which will be wheeled by Roy Entze II, Kinzer Edwards and Johnny Kent, respectively.
Hometown driver Roy Larkin has entered in a Chuck Cline-owned No. 3, while longtime Rumble in Fort Wayne competitor Travis Welpott will bring his Ernie Gorman-owned No. 18 team to play in the dirt in Tulsa as well.
Tulsa’s Curtis Jones and Colorado’s Dustin Weland are the final two fully-new entrants as of Wednesday’s latest update.
Drivers who have confirmed their specific seats include Cole Bodine and Ryan Newman, who will both wheel cars for Clauson-Marshall Racing, as well as Kevin Quinn for Drea Pricket Motorsports.
