SOMERSET, Ky. — Super late models will make their debut at Mountain View Raceway in Spring City, Tenn., on Labor Day weekend next year.
The Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series will make its inaugural visit on Sept. 4.
The 40-lap event will pay $4,000 to win and $400 to start and mark the first time the super late models will tackle the quarter-mile race track located directly off of Highway 27.
The Labor Day weekend doubleheader will open on Sept. 3 with a $4,000-to-win event at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Ga. – a recently added event – and conclude on Sunday, Sept. 5 at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway with the 13th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial.
That event will pay Iron-Man competitors $10,044 to win.
