TULSA, Okla. – Bringing a close to 2020 with 182 of 296 events completed in the 36th annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout, several drivers have begun racking up wins in hopes that it translates to a Golden Driller on Saturday night.

Spread out across five states, each has one driver with at least three victories going into Friday’s contest. Aiden Prude (Illinois), Johnny Boland (Texas), Kaylee Bryson (Oklahoma), Kenny Miller III (Pennsylvania), and Kyle Amerson (Alabama) are the drivers currently atop the win chart.

Making their momentum even sweeter, none of the mentioned have ever hoisted the coveted trophy in Tulsa Shootout competition. Through the 182 events contested, wins have gone to 144 drivers with multiple triumphs going to 34 drivers across the seven divisions.

The first race in North America in 2021, the 36th annual Tulsa Shootout continues Friday with Race No. 183 of the week kicking off the day’s action. Friday’s scheduled stopping point is Race No. 257.

The River Spirit Expo Center opens at 8 a.m. with action on track at 10 a.m. (CT). Pit Passes are sold at the event and are $30.

Masks are required while inside the River Spirit Expo Center. Those who are not wearing one will be escorted out of the event.
