Singapore’s Feng Tianwei, women’s singles finalist at WTT Star Contender Doha, moved a spot from 10th to ninth position in the latest ITTF Table Tennis World Ranking that saw minimal changes due to the absence of tournaments since the WTT Middle East Hub.

Feng, who stormed into her first final earlier this month in Doha, after almost four years, jumped one place up with 6,772 points whilst Japan’s Kasumi Ishikawa now occupies the Singaporean’s previous 10th position.

Korea Republic’s Suh Hyowon and Germany’s Petrissa Solja swapped places respectively with Solja moving one place down to 20th as Suh advanced a spot up to 19th with 4,989 points.

China’s Chen Meng continues to lead the women’s singles ranking with 11,850 points while Japan’s Mima Ito, who won back-to-back titles during the WTT Contender Series events in Doha, is in second place on 10,498 points.

In the men’s singles ranking, France’s Emmanuel Lebesson, who advanced to the round of 16 at WTT Contender Doha where he was knocked out by eventual champion Dimitrij Ovtcharov, moved inside the top-40 to take the 40th place.

China’s Fan Zhendong leads the men’s singles ranking with 11,904 points, continuing his reign as world number one with compatriots Xu Xin and Ma Long in second and third place respectively.
