MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Brad Keselowski’s victory during the GEICO 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway was the 35th of his NASCAR Cup Series career, but it also represented the 100th in NASCAR Cup Series competition for the No. 2.

The 100th Cup Series victory for the No. 2 makes it the fourth car number in NASCAR Cup Series history to reach the 100-victory plateau. The numbers 3, 11 and 43 also have 100 or more victories.

Keselowski is one of 10 drivers to earn victories with the No. 2 on the side of his race car, with 34 of his 35 NASCAR Cup Series triumphs coming in Team Penske’s No. 2 entry.

Rusty Wallace has the most victories in the No. 2 with 37. Other winners with the No. 2 include Kurt Busch (eight wins), Bobby Allison (seven), Dale Earnhardt (six), Bill Blair (three), Tim Richmond (two), Herb Thomas (one), David Pearson (one) and Jim Paschal (one).

Of the four car numbers that have 100 victories or more in NASCAR Cup Series competition, the No. 11 has the most in NASCAR history with 224 victories spread among 13 drivers.

Six drivers have combined to win 199 races in the No. 43 with Richard Petty accounting for 192 of them. Petty also won six races in the No. 41 car and two in the No. 42 machine.

The No. 3 has 100 victories, earned by 13 drivers.

Two car numbers are less than 10 victories away from the 100-victory mark. The No. 24 is credited with 95 victories, with the No. 21 sitting at 92 Cup Series triumphs.
