Sponsoring field projects that aim to solve problems within local communities using table tennis, the Dream Building Fund powered by GSD is a biennial open call for initiatives that contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since its inception in 2018, the Fund has supported 11 projects across five continents.

The call for the new round of projects starting 2022 opens on 1st August 2021 and will close on 29th September 2021. Grant for individual projects range from EUR 10,000 – 35,000.

Eligible projects

You are invited to apply if you are a legally established and locally recognised non-profit, table tennis, sport, or social organisation with a project that uses table tennis to bring positive change in its local or regional environment.

The Dream Building Fund powered by GSD is looking to fund a total of approximately five projects that target a specific UN SDG and exhibit a clear-defined Theory of Change.

Please note that the Dream Building Fund powered by GSD cannot support individuals directly.

Successful projects will receive knowledge and financial support from the ITTF Foundation and our partner, The Foundation of Global Sports Development (GSD). A Video-Making on Mobile Phone workshop will potentially be a part of the programme to help project managers to widen the reach of their work.

Each project will last for two to three years and have a clear exit strategy defined at the end of its first year.

We look forward to receiving your applications! Apply HERE from 1st August 2021.
