South Africa batter Laura Wolvaardt will return to Adelaide Strikers in the WBBL for the 2021-22 season.
Wolvaardt, who is renowned for her driving with some of the best off-side play in the world, was Strikers' top-scorer last season with 347 runs at 26.69.

Before that tour she played the Hundred for Northern Supercharges making 181 runs at 36.20 and a strike-rate of 116.77.

"We are thrilled that Laura will be back in Adelaide this season, she is someone that adds immeasurable quality to our team both on and off the field," Strikers' general manager Kate Harkness said. "Laura is one of the most talented cricketers in the world, and to have so much experience at such a young age is an incredible achievement."
There are now five South Africa players inked in for the WBBL with Nadine de Klerk and Anneke Bosch at Brisbane Heat, Mignon du Preez at Hobart Hurricanes and Marizanne Kapp at Perth Scorchers.
