Scots Alastair Walker and Fiona Matheson achieve barrier-breaking 3000m marks in their age group

While world interest was on the World Indoor Tour Gold meetings in Germany and the USA, notable masters marks were set in Glasgow.

For details of the international action at New York click here and for Karlsruhe click here.

The major domestic events over the weekend were the English area cross-country championships and reports and leading results will follow shortly.
