The Phoenix Suns have signed top international guard Gabriel Lundberg, the team announced Saturday.
Lundberg, who became available after leaving CSKA Moscow amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, agreed to a two-way contract for the rest of the season, sources told ESPN.
Lundberg, 27, will become the first Danish basketball player to join an NBA team. He had averaged 9.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the EuroLeague team this season.
The Suns, who hold the NBA's best record at 53-14, had a single roster spot available.
