Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell limped off the court late in the Mavericks' 102-77 Game 5 win Monday night in Dallas, with the team later saying he suffered a left hamstring injury and will be evaluated Tuesday in Salt Lake City.
Mitchell was rubbing the side of his upper left leg as he exited. He doubled over in pain while in the tunnel leading to the locker room.
The Jazz were down by 28 when Mitchell exited with 4:41 remaining.
Mitchell was held to nine points on 4-of-15 shooting and committed four turnovers.
The Jazz were outscored by 38 points during his 32 minutes. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, that matches the worst plus-minus by a Jazz player in a playoff game since the statistic started being tracked in 1996-97.
The Mavericks took a 3-2 series lead with Monday's win. Game 6 is Thursday in Utah.
