Egypt’s world champion Ali Farag heads up an unchanged top 20 after the PSA Men’s World Rankings for August were released today.

Farag, the 30-year-old from Cairo, makes it three successive months at World No.1, while Paul Coll (2), Mostafa Asal (3), Diego Elias (4) and Mohamed ElShorbagy, now competing for England, complete the top five.

They are joined in the top 10 by Tarek Momen (6), Joel Makin (7), Mazen Hesham (8), Marwan ElShorbagy (9) and Fares Dessouky.

Youssef Ibrahim stays at No.11 ahead of Karim Abdel Gawad (12), Gregoire Marche (13), Nicolas Mueller (14) and Saurav Ghosal (15).

Miguel Rodriguez (16), Youssef Soliman (17), Victor Crouin (18), Raphael Kandra (19) and Baptiste Masotti complete the top 20.

Hong Kong’s Andes Ling is the biggest mover in the men’s rankings. The 24-year-old moved up 189 ranking spots to World No.354 after reaching the semi-finals of both the City of Greater Bendigo International and the City of Greater Shepparton International last month, as well as the last 16 of the Victoria Open.

Mexico’s Sebastian Salazar also enjoyed a big rise in the rankings, moving up 143 places to No.643 after reaching the final of the Pedro Luna / Jack Wadhwa event on the WSF & PSA Satellite Tour.
