CONCORD, N.C. – Austin Cindric, the hottest driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will start from the pole during Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Dover Int’l Speedway.
Cindric was selected to start on the pole based on NASCAR’s news starting lineup formula. The formula utilizes a driver’s finishing position from the most recent race (weighted at 50 percent), owner points position (35 percent) and the fastest lap from the previous race (15 percent).
The driver of the No. 22 Team Penske Ford will be joined on the front row by JR Motorsports’ Noah Gragson. Brandon Jones and Harrison Burton of Joe Gibbs Racing will share the second row, followed by Justin Allgaier and Riley Herbst in row three.
Jeremy Clements, Michael Annett, Ryan Sieg and Chase Briscoe will start sixth through 10th.
